Sculpting My LightSwitch
This is the Light switch i had to create i did this first because my team partner needed it done quick and because it was a easy straight forward thing to create i did it first so i could get use to controls of Maya again.
WEEK 2
Monday 3rd December
Today i decided to create the actual light itself in Maya for our level, because we are going for a horror scene kind of level i decided to work of the lights that are actually in my games class room, because they have a horror feel to them from the way they look, by the way you can see the cables because they are not hidden in the ceiling or anything so i thought it would be interesting if we had them in our games level, instead of normal lights that you would normally see in your everyday life. I created a light and it turns out it wasn't correct the way i did it, so even though in had finished it, i still decided to create another one that is better and looks more professional, and more realistic in comparison to the lights in my games class room.
Tuesday 4th December
Today I started creating the objects that would be on the tables in my level that we may be able to use as weapons also, i started with the syringe. So far it has taken me all day to create the syringe and I'm no where near done because it is awkward to create.
Thursday 6th December
I finally finished creating the syringe today and have made it into a FBX file, now i can continue on and create more small surgery equipment for the game level.
Friday 7th December
As i am creating objects for my game level i decided to do the hard stuff first such as the surgery equipment the reason i find this hard is because its the small things such with little details on them that you wouldn't really pay attention to unless u was creating it yourself, so today i did the blade also known as the crafting knife or carving knife. This took me long because of the way it bends in certain places it takes me time to actually create that curve on my object in Maya in the right place and at the right degree without it messing up the rest of my object.
